Welcome to Mayo Alive Festival

Mayo Alive is an interactive music and cultural celebration of the sights and sounds of Mayo. This free event headlined by the iconic Saw Doctors with guests including Tommy Fleming and The Smith Family.

This will be a fantastic festival the whole family can enjoy with story-tellers, face painters and children’s entertainers. Grainu Aile will be attending and there will be fun treasure hunts and games through out the day.

As the adventure capital of Ireland our outdoor activities experiences are guaranteed to get your blood pumping. These free activities include: Zorbing, Lazer-quest, Archery and Kayaking. For the Bear Gryll in all of use there will be detailed talks on mountaineering, raft-building and fishing.

But that’s not all the entertainment continues with music workshops, literary events, poetry readings and a rocking Battle of the Bands.

Come along and be pampered by some of the most outstanding spa retreats that will be on hand on the day to help you to relax.
 Exhibits on the day will include Ireland’s best surfing, fishing, horse-riding, golf, climbing, kayaking, art, local food, and niche craft.

Don’t forget June 19th is Father’s Day and this is the place to bring all the family and celebrate with Dad. The festival includes picnic areas in the grounds of the DCC Ampitheatre garderns and a big stage in the Amphitheatre. There will be lots of great prizes to win in luxury hotels, awesome golf breaks and special surprises. This will be the very best in Irish music, culture and food and not to be missed !
