Mayo Alive is an interactive music and cultural celebration of the sights and sounds of Mayo. This free event headlined by the iconic Saw Doctors with guests including Tommy Fleming and The Smith Family.
This will be a fantastic festival the whole family can enjoy with story-tellers, face painters and children’s entertainers. Grainu Aile will be attending and there will be fun treasure hunts and games through out the day.
As the adventure capital of Ireland our outdoor activities experiences are guaranteed to get your blood pumping. These free activities include: Zorbing, Lazer-quest, Archery and Kayaking. For the Bear Gryll in all of use there will be detailed talks on mountaineering, raft-building and fishing.
But that’s not all the entertainment continues with music workshops, literary events, poetry readings and a rocking Battle of the Bands.

Mayo Alive 2011 is happening on the 19th of June from 12pm to 6pm in the Dublin City Council Amphitheatre and also across Fishamble Street at the junction of Cows Lane and West Essex street in templebar.
